Access, timing and separating waste on commercial sites
Commercial collections go quickest when we know the site before we arrive. Tell us about height barriers, loading bay bookings, goods lifts, permit parking and any signing-in procedure. If the waste is in a locked bin store or cage, say who holds the key. Timing matters too. A shop may want us before opening and a restaurant between lunch and evening service, so tell us what suits and we will fit around it where we can.
Keep different materials apart if you have the space. Cardboard stacked flat, metal in one corner and general waste in bags makes the load smaller and helps more of it get recycled. Point out electrical items, fridges and anything containing liquid when you ask for a quote. If something might be hazardous, show us a picture before booking. Some materials, such as asbestos, need a specialist contractor.
