Side gates, back alleys and where garden waste goes
Tell us how we reach the garden. A side gate with a clear path to the road is the easy case. Through the house, down steps or along a shared back alley takes longer, and access is one of the things that affects the price. If the alley itself is full of dumped waste, that can be dealt with separately as an alleyway clearance, which neighbours often arrange between them.
After collection, the load goes to licensed facilities for sorting. Green waste can typically be composted, and clean timber and metal recycled, which is part of how around 90% of what we collect is recycled. Some things need a question first. If you have Japanese knotweed or another invasive plant, or old weedkiller, paint or gas bottles from the shed, send us a photo and ask us before you book.
